Mr. Rasheed Aderemi Kolarinwa is an accomplished banking and finance professional who brings extensive leadership experience in Nigeria’s financial services sector to the Board. He commenced his banking career at International Merchant Bank Nigeria Ltd. before transitioning to Chartered Bank Plc, where he held several senior management positions and contributed significantly to the institution’s growth and strategic development. His banking career culminated in his appointment as the Deputy Managing Director of IBTC Chartered Bank Plc, a position he held from 2005 to 2007, providing executive leadership across key banking operations and corporate initiatives.
Beyond his executive career, Mr. Kolarinwa’s extensive experience in banking, corporate governance, and strategic management continues to provide valuable insight across the industry. He currently serves as the Chairman of Capiflex Management Ltd. and also sits on the boards of Sterling Bank Plc and Union Registrars Ltd.
Academically, Mr. Kolarinwa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Toronto, Canada, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and International Business from the Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto, Canada.
